Fortec pallet delivery services
We understand that different customers have different requirements. We also understand that those requirements may vary from day to day or week to week, perhaps with larger or smaller consignments, different destinations or altered delivery deadlines. In order to meet these diverse needs, we offer a highly comprehensive range of services from which customers are free to choose:
- Next day delivery and collection service throughout the UK
- Timed delivery options – including Saturday
- 48-hour nationwide delivery
- Next day service to Ireland (Belfast City and Dublin)
- Daily departure pan-European service via our parent company Geodis
* When Collections occur on a Friday the next working day is deemed a Monday. Bank holidays are not classed as working days.
* Next day in to Belfast and county Dublin for the following postcode areas only (county Dublin, BT1 – 13 & 28).

Our licensee network comprises experienced, well-established transport and pallet logistics operators, each chosen for their professionalism and commitment. In order to become a Fortec licensee they must conform to our rigorous criteria and performance standards.

We treat every pallet as high value, whatever the contents. This means we enforce strict packaging criteria and use a sophisticated bar-code scanning and track and trace system.

Fortec’s Key Performance Indicator (KPI) shows that we achieve 99% ‘on time’ delivery, an industry-leading level of performance for the pallet network sector.
State of the art IT
Fortec has made a significant investment in IT and are committed to remaining at the cutting edge of technology in the pallet distribution industry. Key features of the system include Depot Pallet Scanning, In-cab technology, Online PODs and image scanning - all designed to deliver better end-to-end tracking and reporting. And, instead of a ‘one size fits all’ approach, the applications can be configured to a customer’s own operation at the level they require.
